Course Overview: This course is a fantastic opportunity to learn and gain the practical skills required to establish, operate and sustain National Biodiversity Platforms (NBPs) effectively.

At the successful completion of the course participants will be awarded with a certificate.

Learning Objectives: At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the concept and significance of NBPs;
  • Learn the steps involved in establishing and structuring an effective NBP;
  • Explore strategies for managing and sustaining NBPs;
  • Examine case studies and best practices from successful NBPs;
  • Explore funding and resource mobilization strategies for NBPs;
  • Develop a basic action plan for implementing NBP-related activities in participants’ respective regions;
  • Acquire effective communication and outreach techniques for the success of NBPs.
