In 2021, the National Ecosystem Assessment Initiative at UNEP-WCMC developed the guidance document ‘National Ecosystem Assessments to support implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)’.

The guidance document, launched in English, is now available in the other 5 UN languages: Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, and Chinese.
