Launched in October 2022 and led by the Department of Environmental Affairs and implemented by the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Botswana National Ecosystem Assessment (NEA) process is a pioneering effort to combine scientific and traditional knowledge for a comprehensive understanding of the country’s biodiversity and ecosystem services. In this mini-documentary, journey through Botswana’s diverse landscapes and learn valuable insights about traditional conservation methods from local communities, particularly in the Tswapong Hills of Palapye.
