Dichos autores reunir\u00e1n y analizar\u00e1n datos, conocimientos e informaci\u00f3n sobre diversidad biol\u00f3gica y servicios de los ecosistemas. El resultado es una s\u00edntesis cr\u00edtica de los conocimientos que abordan las preguntas clave identificadas en la fase de <em>an\u00e1lisis inicial<\/em>.\u00a0<br><br>La participaci\u00f3n de los encargados de formular pol\u00edticas y de los profesionales en la revisi\u00f3n de cada borrador de la evaluaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica puede ayudar a garantizar su pertinencia pol\u00edtica. La credibilidad y la legitimidad de la evaluaci\u00f3n se basan en una amplia consulta a las partes interesadas y en la consideraci\u00f3n de diferentes sistemas de conocimiento, incluidos los conocimientos ind\u00edgenas y locales.\u00a0<br><br>El proceso de evaluaci\u00f3n nacional de ecosistemas puede proporcionar una plataforma para la colaboraci\u00f3n entre los diversos portadores de conocimiento con vistas a disponer de los mejores conocimientos disponibles en materia de diversidad biol\u00f3gica y ecosistemas.\u00a0<br><br>Pueden utilizarse indicadores para comunicar una serie de informaciones, como el estado del ecosistema, los \u00edndices de p\u00e9rdida de especies o la prestaci\u00f3n de un determinado servicio del ecosistema, entre otros.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Elementos de una evaluaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de expertos<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><em>Estado y tendencias: <\/em>evaluaci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas prioritarios y sus servicios, as\u00ed como de los factores de cambio relacionados.<\/li><li><em>Escenarios: <\/em>elaboraci\u00f3n de guiones descriptivos que ilustren las consecuencias de cambios plausibles en los factores, los ecosistemas y sus servicios y las pol\u00edticas, as\u00ed como su impacto en el bienestar humano.<\/li><li><em>Estimaci\u00f3n: <\/em>valoraci\u00f3n de los servicios de los ecosistemas en t\u00e9rminos monetarios y no monetarios y estudio de la prestaci\u00f3n presente y futura de los servicios.<\/li><li><em>Opciones de respuesta: <\/em>estudio de las medidas pasadas y actuales que se han adoptado para asegurar o mejorar la contribuci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad al bienestar humano.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Garantizar el apoyo pol\u00edtico a una evaluaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To support the credibility, legitimacy and relevance of its outputs, the assessment process should aim to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Define clear, policy-relevant questions<\/li><li>Ensure the assessment is demand-driven<\/li><li>Identify and involve key sectors, stakeholders and knowledge holders<\/li><li>Fit the assessment to national priorities &amp; institutional concerns<\/li><li>Translate assessment&#8217;s findings to policy-relevant information<\/li><li>Continuously engage decision-makers and key stakeholders to maintain their interest and ownership of the assessment<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outputs of the evaluation stage <br><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>evaluation <\/em>stage will produce a number of key outputs, including a technical report and summary for policymakers (SPM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical report<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The technical report is the collection of the final chapters produced by the authors of the assessment. It is developed through an iterative process which entails the preparation and review of a number of successive report drafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The technical report will include information on the status and trends of different components of biodiversity, ecosystem services, drivers of change, scenarios and plausible pathways, different values, and policy or response options. All of this information is contextualised around the key policy questions in the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the process of undertaking an assessment, knowledge gaps are identified.&nbsp;Knowing what is not known&nbsp;is as important as understanding what is known. The technical report will also highlight gaps in data, information and knowledge, which can be useful in informing future research agendas and monitoring requirements.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary for Policymakers (SPM)<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The summary for policymakers (SPM) is a short and concise document which pulls together the key findings of the technical report into policy-relevant key messages. This summary aims to address the key policy questions identified as main focus of the assessment during the <em>scoping<\/em> stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">National biodiversity platform<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the long-lasting components of the assessment process is the national biodiversity platform. This can be established anew by the assessment process, or can build upon an existing platform as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The national biodiversity platform encourages engagement between practitioners, policymakers, diverse knowledge holders and stakeholders.
